Birthday Plans

In about 3 1/2 weeks our Ava baby will be 1 year old!  I cannot believe how quickly her first year has gone by!  Jimi started announcing to our family months ago that he wants to have a big party for Ava's first birthday.  We hadn't even talked about it together yet, but I was so happy to hear that he wants it to be a big celebration.  He has been saying that we should do an outdoor barbecue at our house and I absolutely love the idea.  We've already mailed out invitations.  I made them on tinyprints.com and they turned out beautifully.  I just took pictures of Ava over Easter weekend and used some of the photos for her card.  Here are the two I used:

I found the perfect outfit for her birthday party on Etsy.  I ordered it last weekend and it's already been shipped!

I ordered this tutu with custom colors:  hot pink, pink, and light pink.

I am in love with all of these decorations for the big day and of course they're also from Etsy.  My total budget for Ava's outfit and all of the decorations is $200.  So, I'm not sure if I'll be getting all of the decorations.  I still have to narrow it down to my favorites and see how much money I have left.

We are so excited for Ava's first birthday and can't wait to celebrate with our family and close friends!  I think what I'm looking forward to the most is watching to see what she'll do with her birthday cake!
