Total weight gain/loss: +10 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes. I found a maternity pea coat on clearance at Target last night! It is so cute and I really needed it.
Stretch marks? No. Still need to pick up some cream, though.
Sleep: Usually I sleep just fine. There was one night this week I woke up at 5 am with a charlie horse in my right calf. I yelped with pain and woke my husband up. He later told me he thought I was going into a horribly premature labor. Luckily it was just a bad leg cramp. I've been told that I need to get more potassium in my diet so I've been drinking a ton of milk and plan to pick up some bananas at the store.
Best moment this week: Buying cupcake supplies for our gender reveal party - it's getting so close!
Have you told family and friends: Yes
Miss Anything? Cold beer - specifically, Shock Top and Boulevard Wheat. I can't even say their names without my mouth watering. I had no idea that I would miss it this much. I just try not to think about it.
Movement: Yes - I've been feeling light flutters every once in a while. It's hard to pin-point exactly when they happen b/c they're not very strong yet. Plus, when I'm at work I don't notice as much b/c I'm so preoccupied with my 22 first graders running around like little heathens.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular, just eating every 2 hours.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Have you started to show yet: Yes
Gender prediction: Husband says boy. I truly have no idea.
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: None
Belly Button in or out? In, but getting very small and shallow. It's so weird!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Our ultrasound!!! It is less than a week away and I'm so excited!!!
Here's some info. from babycenter.com on pregnancy at 19 weeks:
How your baby's growing:
Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.
