For the past few years my husband and I have taken a spring break trip together. This year was probably the last spring break trip we'll have for a while. With Jimi graduating law school and baby girl on the way, we took advantage of this last bit of freedom.
This year we traveled an hour and a half away to our first bed and breakfast. It was Jimi's idea and he even found the B&B online. We got the Ballroom and I added the "babymoon" package which included a dozen roses with vase, chocolate covered strawberries, sparkling grape juice with two commemorative champagne flutes, a stuffed teddy bear for baby girl, and breakfast brought to our room one morning.
The second day we were there, we went into town and saw some of the historical landmarks - the Hall of Waters and The Elms Hotel. I'm so glad we took this trip together. It was relaxing, fun, and just what we needed. Here are some pictures from our little adventure.
