Not a whole lot to report on the baby front...still waiting. It's so hard to wait, especially in the third and fourth weeks. Thank goodness I don't have a lot more time to wait this month....about 5-6 more days until we know if we're pregnant or not.
This morning my husband had weekend class (after 2 weekends of class he got 1 credit) so I got up with him and got around so I could go redeem some coupons. I got a free 2 oz. bottle of lotion from Bath and Body Works and free Victoria's Secret underwear. I can't remember the last time I actually had to buy underwear because I always get coupons for these since I have their credit card. The trick to the credit card is that I only use it once a year just so I get coupons every month. I also went to Kohl's where I had a 20% off coupon and a $10 gift card, so I ended up getting a cute gold ring that was originally $16.00, that I paid $1.74 for.
This was one of those rare weekends where we didn't really have anything going on, so we have just been vegging out at home. Work has been keeping me so busy that it's nice to be able to have a weekend to catch up on sleep and just do things I want to do.
Next weekend is my 10 year high school reunion. That makes me feel old just saying it. I have mixed feelings about the reunion. I'm still good friends with a few girls from my graduating class, but for the most part everyone else has kind of gone their separate ways. I'm not as stressed out about looking perfect as I thought I might be. I also only have $25 left in my monthly clothing budget, so I'll just be wearing a dress I already own. I hope the night goes well and it's not completely boring and everyone's fake.
Next weekend we're also going to see Ben Folds Five at an outdoor venue. We're going with my sister-in-law and her husband. Ben Folds Five is their favorite band ever, so it should be a good time. I love live music and I'm mainly looking forward to the fact that it's outdoors and we've been having beautiful fall weather lately. It should be fun and relaxing.
