Huff and Puff

My friend invited us to go to this thing called Huff and Puff this past Saturday night.  Huff and Puff is really two events rolled into one.  If you get up early, you can go out to one of our local lakes (the biggest one in our city) and watch all of these hot air balloons go up into the sky at the same time.  I'm sure you can even pay an arm and a leg to ride in one.  Then, at night time they tether all of the hot air balloons to one area of the lake grounds.  Vendors come and make a big circle around the balloons so you can shop and eat.  There were indian tacos, funnel cakes, kettle corn....foods that remind you of a fair.  You can also pay $10 to get inside a ballon basket and take a verrrry short ride while the balloon is still tethered to the ground.  Once it gets dark, all of the balloons pull their flame at the same time and all of the balloons light up.  We stayed for about an hour and it was so neat!  It was the first year I had every gone and I'm glad I did.  We saw so many kids there.  I can't wait to have a little toddler to take back to Huff and Puff each year.  I can just imagine their little eyes lighting up, watching all of the balloons.
