Sleep: It was a long week. I went to bed at 7:00 pm on Friday night and didn't wake up until 8:30 am Saturday morning!
Best moment this week: I did a 5K walk with my mom this week. We talked about when she was pregnant. She told me that I was originally due on June 7 (our baby's due date!). How cool is that?! Apparently I just decided that I was ready for the world two weeks earlier. My birthday is May 25.
Have you told family and friends: Yes
Miss Anything? Coffee
Movement: No
Food cravings: Fruit - pineapple, oranges, grapes
Anything making you queasy or sick: Yes. I developed morning sickness at about 5 1/2 weeks. I've been feeling nauseous, but have still been able to eat/drnk things like smoothies, salads, milk, bread, and fruit. The thought of any kind of meat makes me want to gag.

Here is some information from www.babycenter.com about pregnancy at 6 weeks:
How your baby's growing:
This week's major developments: The nose, mouth, and ears that you'll spend so much time kissing in eight months are beginning to take shape. If you could see into your uterus, you'd find an oversize head and dark spots where your baby's eyes and nostrils are starting to form. His emerging ears are marked by small depressions on the sides of the head, and his arms and legs by protruding buds. His heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as yours — and blood is beginning to course through his body. His intestines are developing, and the bud of tissue that will give rise to his lungs has appeared. His pituitary gland is forming, as are the rest of his brain, muscles, and bones. Right now, your baby is a quarter of an inch long, about the size of a lentil. In other news...
I had a dream last night about a movie that I saw a long time ago. Then I was watching TV today and the same movie came on! I also had a dream that my husband and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary by renewing our vows in the Katy Perry music video "Teenage Dream." It was so weird.
