Hello Second Trimester!

How far along? 13 Weeks and 2 Days
Total weight gain/loss: +3 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes, wearing maternity pants
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: I still get 8-10 hours of sleep every night, but it's getting harder to stay comfortable.  I haven't slept on my belly for the past 2 months.  Now, even sleeping on my back is making me paranoid, so I just turn to each side.
Best moment this week: Finally moving into the second trimester!
Have you told family and friends: Yes
Miss Anything? No - ever since I was around 11 1/2 weeks I have felt so much better.  I've finally been able to eat what I want, go shopping, go the movies, and I even got a chai tea latte on Friday and it was wonderful!
Movement: No
Food cravings: Lucky Charms cereal, Dill Havarti cheese, sourdough bread, and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Brushing my teeth still makes me gag on occasion.
Have you started to show yet: Yes
Gender prediction: Based on the heartbeat we heard at our 11-week appointment, I'm going to guess that baby Norman is a girl. However, I know that I could be completely wrong. Can't wait to find out in January!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Fatigue at the end of the day, occasional headaches, and some tailbone pain.  I'm going to contact a chiropractor next week so I can get an adjustment.  I know my back will feel instantly better after that.  I had to have several adjustments in high school because I threw my back out of alignment.  I wish I knew how to give myself an adjustment because it feels so much better afterward.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Our 14-week appointment with the OBGYN.  It is on Dec. 11.  I love that our appointments are closer together now.  Waiting for that 11-week appointment was agonizing.

Here's some info. from babycenter.com on pregnancy at 13 weeks:

How your baby's growing:

Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.
