Sleep:  Ava has been keeping me up with her kicking most nights for several hours at a time.  Usually it's right around 2 or 3 am until 5 or 6 am. 
Best moment this week: Celebrating 6 years of marriage with my hubby!  My grandparents brought us Olive Garden for dinner Friday night.  We exchanged cards with each other after dinner.  Then we had sparkling grape juice on Saturday.  Sunday was the day of our anniversary and we went to Dairy Queen.  It was really nice to get out of the house and go out on a date.
Miss Anything?:  I just really want to meet our daughter more than anything.
Movement: Yes
Food cravings:  Mac & cheese, cereal, grapes
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Have you started to show yet: Yes
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs:  Last night I had contractions for about 30 minutes.  They were 7 minutes, 8 minutes, and 11 minutes apart.  Then they died down.
Symptoms:  Minor swelling in my hands and feet
Belly Button in or out? Out
Wedding rings on or off? Off
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Meeting our baby girl!  If she hasn't come by Tuesday, we'll be going in to Labor and Delivery for a scheduled induction.  Even though I'm a little hesitant about having to get Pitocin and would much rather go into labor on my own, I'm excited to not be pregnant anymore and I just really want to meet Ava!

How your baby's growing:

Your baby's waiting to greet the world! He continues to build a layer of fat to help control his body temperature after birth, but it's likely he already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. (Boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls.) The outer layers of his skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.

Doctor's Appointment Update - We had an appointment to check my blood pressure on Friday, the day I turned 39 weeks. 

• My blood pressure - 122 over 78 (prehypertension) - not bad enough to be sent to Labor & Delivery for more testing.
• Next appointment - Tuesday (induction day)!

Here are some pictures from our 6-year anniversary date.  We kept giggling, so of course I had to take lots!  :P  I am so in love with this man and can't wait to see him as a father!
