Birchbox

After hearing about Birchbox on facebook and seeing how many of my girlfriends were loving it, I saved a spot in the Birchbox line and they finally contacted me in July.  I received my first box in August and it was like Christmas!  I received five different products, one of which was a full-size Schick Hydro Silk razor valued at $9.99.  If I had any doubts as to whether or not Birchbox would be worth the $10 monthly charge, this totally set my mind at ease. 

The other great thing about Birchbox is that you can earn points just by paying your $10 each month.  You get 10 points for every $10 spent.  Once you get 100 points, Birchbox will give you $10 to spend in their online store on full-size products that you love.  Today I also discovered that you can earn points by providing feedback on the products you received most recently (and up to a month after).  Each review you submit earns you 10 points!  I have paid for my August box ($10) and I just did 5 reviews (they only take about a minute to fill out), so now my reward point balance is up to 60 points!

I'm looking forward to receiving my September Birchbox soon so I can earn even more points.  Soon I'll have $10 in rewards to spend.  My plan is to save up my rewards until I have $30 or $40 to spend on a full-size product that I really love.  Here is a link to Birchbox in case you want to check it out for yourself:  Birchbox.  If you end up deciding to try Birchbox make sure you use this link because it will automatically tell Birchbox that I referred you and I will get even more rewards points!
