Blood Test Results
I just got off the phone with the doctor's office and my HcG blood test came back completely negative. The nurse said that this means I was never pregnant. I don't really believe this. I think that I had a chemical pregnancy and had a miscarriage. There is no ectopic pregnancy, which is a huge relief. I am still a little sad that there is no baby. I would rather have no baby, though, than have an ectopic pregnancy where I would have to have surgery and lose the baby anyway. My husband and I have decided not to tell anyone the next time we get pregnant until we know for sure that there is a baby. Until we have a positive blood test and possibly even a sonogram we're going to try to keep it to ourselves. I have also decided not to take any pregnancy tests until I have missed my period because this was very hard to go through.

I'm so sorry! :( that was my biggest fear from announcing so early. I pray you have your baby soon! Don't let this get you down. Six months-one year is completely normal. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words. I think we're going to be more cautious next time and wait to announce it until more time passes and we at least have the blood test results.
