Half-Marathon

The half-marathon was today.  It was about 55 degrees outside and there were 4 major hills, but I finished in 2 hours and 39 minutes.  I kept up with my friend until mile 7 and then I had to stop and walk several times.  It was a huge rush to cross the finish line!  My husband and my friend's mom and step-dad came.  They took pictures and cheered us on.  When we got back home I slept for 4 hours, had some food and an Aleve, and now my body is just exhausted.  Running 13.1 miles is the most physically challenging thing I've ever done.  Here are some pictures from the race:
