TGIF

It has been a busy, busy week!  I had Monday off of work so I didn't expect the week as a whole to be so busy.  However, it seems like any time we get off schedule during the week, my students seem to be very different - like crazy, I-forgot-all-the-rules-because-we-didn't-have-school-on-Monday-different.  I also had to go to an all-day Math Committee meeting on Tuesday.  So I had a substitute which means I didn't see my students until Wednesday.  It was pretty hard reining them back in, but I think we finally found some common ground with each other yesterday.  I'm just happy today's already Friday!

Now for a totally different subject - yesterday I got a thank-you card in the mail from my husband's cousin's fiance.  So, she's soon to be my cousin, too.  They're getting married in June and I went to a bridal shower for her a couple weekends ago.  At the shower we ended up talking about the rest of the wedding plans, where they're going for their honeymoon, and when they're planning on starting a family.  They've decided to start trying 1 year after marriage, which makes it June 2013.  I haven't made it a secret as to when my husband and I are going to start trying (January 2013)- I'm horrible at secrets...plus I'm just too excited!  I'm really looking forward to the prospect of us being pregnant at the same time!  Of course I know things will happen when they're meant to, but how cool would that be?  :)
