I think he knew how horrible my Thursday was. When I called him after work on Friday to see how his day was he said, "It was great! I mowed the lawn, scrubbed the toilet, and did all the dishes. How do burgers on the grill sound for dinner?" It was such a relief to come home to a clean house and dinner that I didn't have to make. I ended up taking a nap after dinner and going to the gym later. I'm so happy that I'm married to a guy who knows that we're in this crazy life together. I pull him up when he's down, and he does the same for me.
On another note, I did a 5K race this morning with one of my good friends from college. It was to support a local high school's scholarship foundation. I ended up placing third in my age group and even got my first trophy for it. I have to run 9 1/2 miles tomorrow for my half-marathon training. We have to go to a family Easter party at 3:00, so I know I'll have to go to the gym before that. I'm nervous that I'll feel really sore and tired during the party. We'll see how it goes.
