Today I found out that I won't have to teach a different grade level for the upcoming school year. One of my co-workers told the principal that she would move instead. Until today, I didn't know what my principal would decide. Just because my co-worker offered, I still wasn't sure what she would decide. I was very relieved that she took our opinions into account. I think my co-worker will be better at a new grade level anyway. Plus it's only going to be her third year of teaching. Not that my principal honors seniority all the time, but she did this year anyway.
On another note, I picked up my last birth control pack today. I told my husband it's like a count-down now! Every last pill I take, gets us closer to the time when we get to start trying to get pregnant. One of my co-workers asked me today when we're going to start trying and I said this summer. I also told her about my doctor's appointment in June to get all my questions answered like how long it might take us to get pregnant. My co-worker said that her doctor recommended stopping birth control 3 months before starting to try. I'm anxious to hear what my doctor says because I've heard other things, too. Several of my friends/family members who have had babies said that they stopped taking birth control and within the first 2 months they were pregnant.
